This Winter Olympics the US will be sending 26 of our top snowboarders to represent Old Glory. Team USA will be competing in all snowboarding events which include halfpipe, slopestyle, big air, snowboard cross, and parallel giant slalom.
Among the 26 are the expected Olympic vets like Shaun White, who is gunning to become the first snowboarder to strike gold 3 times after the record escaped his grasp in Sochi 4 years ago.
Kelly Clark, who is currently the most decorated snowboarder in Olympic history at age 34 and about to head into her 5th Olympic Games at PyeongChang, South Korea.
And let’s not forget Lyndsey Jacobellis, an Olympic silver medalist hunting for gold in boardercross.
Many of the US competitors are heading to the Olympics for the first time, 8 of which are under the age of 21, but will be well supported by their seasoned teammates.
